Poetry • Hatred as an ostrich

Big slimy legs pouch a boredom of fascism
Ether minds cultivate the truth of sentient beings.
Like love is never meant to reside in the same sex
Newton’s law fails to comprehend the sincerity of emotional gravity;
A gravitational pull of two exclusive bodies
Dwelling in different homes
The fat egg, when hatched, bears the voice of the Universe.
We, the Universe, are a united entity; dissecting from societal norms and barriers.
Fetching an ostrich is not a piece of cake; likewise, regulating a notion of distinctive entities is
not a fundamental right.
Claims suffix the potholes in the system/ alienated face called by racist groups solely condemn
the power of truth/ truth is like a time bomb waiting for none/ it’s
Delegated to those who learn the ethical values from these voices/ voices of the Nightingale,
singing lyrics of peace/ dignity is abjured in society; boycotting the narratives/possession of old
traditions act like a hawk; drilling a fragile system that hangs on twigs/ breaking the fluorescent
petals of blooming equality/
Latch the claws of snakes moving around; to bite you / throb you/ demean / falling you prey of
deceased democracy.
Shun the gates of the election booth/ who judge you like outsiders.
We, people of God / at the hands of Christ/ turning the tables down/ time to war/ break the
silence/ bestow moist vacuum with words of grace//
