For better, for worse
Pallavi Ghosh
Everything swirls —
In verse.
And entrapped souls —
Boys and girls —
Curl, uncurl.
Like caterpillars,
Unbothered by the churn —
An unravelling universe.
Leaving behind glittering pearls
That fall to the ground
None the wiser, only round.
Unrehearsed.

RAWGUE.’s 4th issue delved into the grey, moody, and cold atmosphere of winter. Yet it did not sink into the depths of madness or depression. Instead, it embraced this season of hibernation, allowing 31 artists from all over the world to present their timid work beneath a veil of quiet beauty.

Pallavi is a poet and journalist based in New Delhi, India. Her poetry explores the texture of human experience, from the everyday to the metaphysical, engaging with themes of memory, transience, loss and the search for meaning. Ghosh’s work has been featured in the Bombay Review magazine and several anthologies.
