Poetry • The God Trick, Neutrally Data-Driven

Top-down, topological
observation of, tree canopy.
concealing atrophy, of
vegetation,
unknown to its all-knowing mechanical,
observation.
Stationed, high above the clouds,
that see glimpses of crowds,
and make assumptions
(or rather reductions)
of life’s true functions.
Based on hard-drive,
that calculates an educated guess,
(fallible at best)
of what it’s like to be
Alive.

RAWGUE.’s 4th issue delved into the grey, moody, and cold atmosphere of winter. Yet it did not sink into the depths of madness or depression. Instead, it embraced this season of hibernation, allowing 31 artists from all over the world to present their timid work beneath a veil of quiet beauty.
